A commercialvideo plays on top of video

Description

Before the update, video`s like this : http://www.gametrailers.com/video/an...wattack/705627
would have annoying comercials playing on top of the video i wanted to watch, so i could only see part of the videoscreen:

On the Boxeebrowser ,the commercialvideo`s play on the right upper corner.
You can see 3/4th of the commercial video because it is devided and can be seen from 2 or 3 squares.

The missing 1/4th "takes over" the videoscreen of the video i want to watch.
When i maximize the videoscreen to full screen, the whole commercial can be seen on top of the video i want to watch

In firefox/IE browser the 3 squares in the right upper corner are not even there.
In firefox/IE browser the commercialvideo (that playes on top of the video in the boxeebrowser) can sometimes be seen as a commercial before the video i want to see watch starts.

After the update i can`t see the video`s at all , because they are totaly black now.


This is also with video`s from Blip.tv, screwattack and many more.

btw:
The commercials are dutch, because i live in holland;.
Maybe the commercialvideoscreens are smaller when one watches them from other countries?There

are you referring to the BoxeeBrowser the application?

if so, did you try the same video on the standard boxee browser? (main menu search/url)

In firefox i have a Watch Later button.
I start the video`s from the Watch Later on the Boxee Box.

Tonight i will test the browser app and main menu search/url

currently there is no option to add videos from gametrailers to boxee (as bookmarklet) it is broken.

I tested it with the Wayne`s world review by the AVGN on Gametrailers.com
First i used the Watch later button on my firefoxbrowser to put it in my watch later list..
Then i choose the video from the watch later list on my BB, it opens a browser.(I tought that browser IS the boxeebrowserapp)
The url at that instance is www.gametrailers.com/video/boxee/56230 and i get the problem
When i use that same url in my firefoxbrowser; no problem
When i use that same url with ; main menu search/url i get the problem.
When i open the boxeebrowserapp and search the same page and open it i get the problem.
I also used the original url ( http://www.gametrailers.com/video/angry-video-screwattack/56230 ) for the same tests and got the same results.

Thanks for the update, when you type in the URL into the URL bar (in the main menu search bar) does the video playback behave the same?

I`ll refrase ; i am in the main menu -> i start to type -> a Search/url-bar appears -> i type http://www.gametrailers.com/video/angry-video-screwattack/56230 or www.gametrailers.com/video/boxee/56230 -> enter -> a browser opens and loads the page with the problem

excuse my english it gets a little dutchy sometimes , specially at night :)

Here you can see that the commercialvideo is devided in 3 parts this time , i guess it depends on what commercial is playing (I made red lines around them.)
It playes partly on top of the video i want to watch.
Partly on the banner above ,
and partly on a square on the right.

trying to reproduce with NL vpn, there are ads before the video playback starts but there are no flash ads on the web page.

I installed the Boxee-software on the pc of a friend (in holland) and tested the same video in the boxee-for-pc-boxeebrowser.
In this case the commercialvideo plays on/over the left upper side of the browser.
In this case it does not overlap the video when its playing in the browser because its positioned just under it.
But it does overlap the video in full screen.

They (finaly) changed the commercials.
Now they got a differend comercial in each square ( in stead of 1 commercial covering both squares)

So, it seems my problem is solved :)

Well , sometimes i get the overlapping (tmf ot mtv) commercials again, but when i refresh (a couple of times) , (most times) there`l be another (small squared) commercial.
So it still works for me.
