Choppy playback of all my local files in mp4 format (for PS3). All my movies have somewhat choppy playback, not enough bad to be unwatchable, but enough bad that is not enjoyable. I have no such problem playing the movies from the computer or from PS3.

Alex added a comment - 16/May/11 1:47 PM I have the same issue. Most files now look choppy, 5-10fps. I had to use my PC to watch them - and I saw no issues. BoxeeBox and PC are connected to the same server, same network, so it is Boxee problem.

I re-encoded the file from source as a MKV then I used mkvtoolnix to extract the files from the mkv then used mp4box to convert to an mp4 (no transcoding, just container) and the files played perfectly on the boxee. Bought the boxee just to play these as my ps3 cant handle file size over 4gig. Seriously considering selling my boxee cause i really wanna watch my Predator bluray copy and i cant because of that annoying stutter
