It takes 2 minutes to start playing MKV files with .ASS subtitles

Whenever playing an MKV files with embedded .ASS subtitles Boxee stalls for anywhere between 40 seconds to well over a minute before playing the file. I posted the issue initially on the Boxee forums and figured out what the issue was quickly with their help. See the thread here.

jkim5453 had the same issue as I do. It seems the issue only applies to SSA/ASS formated subtitles but it takes a while for the subtitle renderer to initialize when subtitles are in this format. Any MKV files without the subtitles play fine. Attached is a debug log from my Boxee Box.
