Description
Playback of AVC features stutter/choppyness. It seems as if only certain elements of the video become choppy/stuttery rather than the whole frame. It's also apparent that the picture is often seemingly vibrating/shaking vertically. This is harder to spot though. It's almost like watching the movie on an old CRT TV. Choppyness and vibration fixed when played back on other devices.
This was originally sourced from HD DVD. Boxee is set to output 1080p24Hz. My TV features a motion Interloper so any framerate hiccups or stutter is very noticable. (Philips Natural Motion)
Occurances throughout but:
Heartbreak1:
Choppyness particularly apparent as Tram approaches screen.
Old men crossing road in the next scene is choppy.
Heartbreak2:
As man moves at about 17 seconds = choppy.
Cushions near Ben Stiller strobing/pulsing at 26 seconds (an obvious example of the "vibration"?)
Audio has been stripped to save bandwidth.

I meant motion interpolation. Not interloper!
