AVS forum user sent an email about this issue:

Many of my MTS files taken with my Panasonic digital cameras are playing out of sync on the Boxee Box. In particular, the audio is ahead by about 1/2 to 1 second.

I have uploaded a few sample videos for you to analyze. Here is the information you will need:

NOTE: I am using the current version of Boxee Box as of 11/17/10

I have 3 Panasonic digital cameras that I have taken videos with (all in the .MTS container):

Panasonic ZS7 - Takes videos at 720p in AVCHD Lite format (30fps)
Panasonic GF1 - Takes videos at 720p in AVCHD Lite format (30fps)
Panasonic GH1 - Takes videos at both 720p (60fps) and 1080i (30fps) in the AVCHD format (not Lite)



issue was verified on 1.0.1.16304
2 of the files user sent are playing out of sync on boxee.

I don't see how this is a duplicate of 7736? 7736 dealt with camcorder files in 1080p format not digital camera files in 720p and 1080i. Also the files from the TM700 play fine on my laptop through Movist and quicktime (using perian which uses ffmpeg if I'm correct). Also, the files recorded in 1080i from the TM700 camcorder play back perfectly fine, no sync issues, no sound cutting out. Plus bug 7736 is not about a sync problem. The sound plays fine and in sync for a little bit, it then just cuts out and stops playing. If sync were a problem I'd be able to at least play the files, but as it stands now I cannot even do that.

I am seeing the same with .mts files created by Panasonic GF-1. Not a huge issue, it still plays the audio usually just with some out of sync.
