Description

In my setup I have maxed out volume in all ALSA controllers which allows me to use boxee with lower volume settings. But after start boxee ignores the volume level, startup sound and navigation sounds are very loud. Everything works ok after I press any volume button -- it really shows ~50 % of volume and navigation sounds are quiet.

I tried it with libsdl1.2debian-alsa and libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio. Nothing changed.

this is reproducible on Window 7 and Ubuntu Lucid as well with boxee 0.9.22.13692

every time boxee is launched the volume is 100% and only when changing the volume level it is back to the latest volume level applied.

This appears to be fixed in version 1.2
We will be releasing a new PC/Mac/Ubuntu in the fall.
Please test with this new version and if this is still occurring please open a new ticket.
