Description
After putting my Asus EEE Box B204 to hibernate, I never get the sound (HDMI Out via ATI Radeon 3450) working again. Occasionally, I might be able to get some "jittered" sound together with very slow playback (sometimes, when I leave the TV unattended and Boxee displays the screensave, I also get this...).
To fix it, I usually perform a Boxee restart...and whenever I am not able to close Boxee properly, I have to even kill the process manually by going to the Task Manager
It seems that it fails to properly initialize HDMI sound after coming out of hibernation and shows up the "Could not initialize sound..." error
Here's my setup:
Asus eeeBox B204 connected to Philips FTV via HDMI connector, using 1920x1080 as resolution, windows XP Home with all MS updates as from yesterday.
I am using the built-in ATI Radeon HD 3450 with HDMI OUT sound.
