DTS 96/24 passthought is not working

I have a plenty of audio as .dts files with bitstream in DTS 96/24 multichannel 5.1 format. Today's attempt to play them outputs to my receiver a gun machine noise writing on receiver "multi-ch in". Normal behavior is a passthought to receiver DTS stream, receiver shows "DTS 96/24" and decodes stream itself.
It was working fine before. I'm pretty sure that it was working fine on this particular fw (1.5.1.23735) as well. I use the following configuration: AV receiver Denon 2308, hdmi connection to it, settings set in boxee for receiver as: dd, dts and lpcm 7.1 + EDID turned on. Just in case - Denon 2308 does not support anything like DD true hd or DTS hd.
The only difference is that today boxee had started with message "no inet connection" due to issue from boxee server side (real inet was always there from my side), boxee server become alive during an hour - in any case after that i cant use my dts files.
I tried the following:
- go to recovery mode and reset all settings - does not help
- downgrade twice to two recent fw releases - does not help
- made factory restore and upgrade back to the latest fw - does not help
- played a lot with turn on/off EDID - no luck here...

Well - I swear - it was working for me - now it doesn't. Please note - if i try to change just file extension to .wav - it plays as normal sound, but decoded on boxee (not passthought) with downsampling to 48k and it cut a lot from 96k - so i can hear the diff and such sound does not make me happy...

Please fix or help me resolve it in my configuration.
