Anime video plays too fast, perhaps because of VBR on the video?

Video files for atleast One Piece (Yibis group) plays movie faster than the audio (the audio sounds fine and not slowed down) which is very easy to identify on the intro karaoke. These files plays fine in all software based players in windows, and played fine on my old xtreamer (however, if I skipped it started to play at 2x the speed).

I will upload a sample to the ftp according to the ticket name.
