Friends Activity doesn't update anymore

Description

The friends activity feed stopped updating for a while now both on the boxee.tv web page and on Boxee Box. Tried to reconnect my social networks accounts with no success. I've noted that the feed stopped exactly at a count of 200 activities... maybe it's not a coincidence...

i can only see shared items from boxee friends and once in a while a twitter video, no FB shared videos for more than 2 weeks now.

same issue, FB feed has not updated for few weeks.
I tried disconnecting and reconnecting, still not working.
I have 200 videos in my 'recent friends activity' in home screen.

Has not updated for me since last update. Also tried disconnecting/reconnecting. Removing app from facebook, and installing again from boxee site - no success.

It's been a long time I have the same problem with Friends Feed. Indeed, this is one of the best features of Boxee. Sad to see it's broken.

Same issue for me. I've tried removing and re-connecting the Facebook service under "services" but still no luck. I've tried resetting my dlink boxee box back to default settings but that did not work either. Has anyone tried deleting the boxee login account and re-creating a new boxee different account and starting over?

Seeing the same thing here. No Facebook content in my Friends feed. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting it on the Services page. Fb content is not showing up on the Boxee Box, Boxee for iPad, nor on http://www.boxee.tv.

This makes me sad.

my fb feed has not worked for a while, now (10 days ago) my twitter feed has also failed to update, i have tried connect reconnect but zero difference.

Here Facebook updates still aren't showing; only Twitter updates. Can any progress from the crew be reported? Because this issue has been open for over 2 months now, and the work log still says "nothing logged". Could they keep us informed every now and then please?

I wouldn't think it would take more than 2 months to roll out a fix for this. It's simple things like this not getting fixed that really perturb me. iRoNBiLL of Navi-X fame would have had this fixed within a day :)

Guys, We know this issue bothers a bunch of users, but its not a system-wide bug, most users' friends feeds are being updated on a daily basis.

For some (not all) users removing boxee app from facebook (Settings->Apps on facebook website) and reconnecting using the boxee website resolves this issue.

The source of the problem is not on our side but at Facebook's API, we are working with them to resolve this issue. It might take some time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi guys, we've just deployed several fixes that should mitigate the issue. Our tests shows it solves the issue for most users.
You should start seeing updates in the next couple of hours.

I'm keeping this issue open since there is still a problem there for some users, which we'll investigate further.

Please comment here if the friends activity started updating for you, or is still doesn't update.

Continuing to confirm that Friend Activity is no longer being updated, even after trying to disconnect/reconnect any number of services (Facebook / Twitter / etc.) My feed is stuck at 200 items and has not been updated in weeks. Clearly a server-side issue since logging into Boxee over the web (at http://bbx.boxee.tv) still shows the same, stale feed (stuck at 200 items, just as the original description mentioned).

If the database on the server side is full, is there any way you can go ahead and reset it so this can start pulling new items off the feeds again? Might be a quick fix to keep people like me happy until a real fix is implemented?

Just another report of the same issue. No updates to Friend Activity in the last 3-4 weeks I would guess. Have also tried disconnecting/reconnecting my accounts.
