Description

Vevo videos are lower resolution and freeze about 3/4 through the video to a a single frame or black screen.

I was able to somewhat reproduce.

Start Vevo
Play first from any playlist
Let the playlist play for a few videos
3rd video in, the video froze and sound stopped.

Was forced to restart the box.

I posted a while back that it was die to the HDMI settings. Since there is no explaination on what to set things too, through trial and error, if it was set on RGB high it would do it. On 422 or 444 it is fine. Not sure why, but maybe it has to do with my projector bring 720p even though it rescales all 1080p material to 720p.

I found that Steve's suggestions on changing the HDMI settings fixed the issue. I had mine set to RGB and once I set it to 444 there is no more issue. This also seemed to have fixed a similar issue that was being caused with the YouTube app. I'm not sure what the difference is in the HDMI settings, but the picture looks pretty much the same comparing RGB,422, or 444. But 444 and 422 seem to fix the Vevo issue. This needs to be fixed in a update.
