Description
I currently have my boxee box set at 1080p 24p with match video refresh rate to screen checked. When using this combination and the slingplayer app, I cannot achieve a framerate of higher than 24fps. It vaires between 15-23 or so. When watching sports with a lot of panning video, such as hockey, there is a lot of stuttering/jittering. The video bitrate is greater than 8000 kbps, so there is no buffering and the stream is watchable, but is hard on the eyes.
If I switch the boxee settings to simply 1080p, the sling app achieves 29 fps consistently. I really like using 1080p24p for my local content and dont want to have to change the setting every time i want to watch a sling stream. Can this setting be overriden when using the sling app?
