In the Vimeo app (a.k.a. Couch Mode), it's impossible to log-in. You can select "Log In" and enter your log-in information, and it seems like it does something, but you never actually log in.
The search function is similar, but it's possible to get it to work. You select "Search", enter your search and then a button shows up saying "Showing 2,002 results for surfing" or something like that. The button seems to be selected by default. Unless you click on that button, whatever you do controls the player, with the search window remaining in front, inaccessible. On the other hand, if you click the button straight away, it closes the search window, but without actually performing the search—nothing changes. If you try the search a second time, it works. It seems pretty consistent like that, always the second time.
