Firmware 1.2.2.20482 (25 October) has fatal 3D video playback bug!

Description

With the newest firmware version 1.2.2.20482 from 25 October boxee box can't play 3D content (side by side) correctly anymore!
On the left and right sides are big grey bars and there are much more ghostings in all movies then before.

In summary, the 3D feature has become useless for me on Samsung 3D TV (55UEC8790).

Nope, but i already played with the overscan settings - it's not possible to "fix" this bug with the overscan settings.

Overscan settings with 3D SBS video will result with video playback issues, please try to reset overscan settings back to their default.

Gero, your issue reproduced when i set Overscan to 3% and played a SBS 3D video on boxee,
when i reset the overscan to 0% the video playback was fine.

Yes, you are right, with overscan off 3D movies are played correctly BUT then the image edges are cropped on any side. So e.g. the timeline slider on the bottom off the screen is barely legible.

In previous firmware versions, it was possible to set any overscan unit (not only the pre-defined but also custom ones) without destroying the 3D playback.

Will you fix this issue in further firmware versions?

currently this is the only workaround for playing 3D SBS videos on boxee.

this issue will be fixed in the future.

Try disabling overscanning on you HDTV. For example, on my Samsung I change to "Just Scan" picture size.
