Description
In the old platform boxee software the application kept on running in the background when you closed the application window. For the boxee box the application is actually terminated (I guess to spare some resources). This can become unhandy if you want to offer the user the choice of closing the app and not accidentally close the app by pressing the ESC button one time to much which can easily happen for application that are using multiple state views.
As like html5 apps are giving a warning on exit of the browser and playback gets a dialog on exiting the playback window (added in since the 1.0+ firmware) I would like to see similar behavior for apps. So the users have a choice to exit the app or not!
For developers there is no possibility to implement this feature due to some existing bugs in for example the 'onunload' tag.
