Description
I have three Boxee Boxes, each with different audio options enabled. I was playing back an MKV of the Blu-ray title "Tangled" on the Boxee on my AVR (Yamaha RXV-1800). This Boxee has the audio options *DD 5.1 capable receiver* *DTS capable receiver* and *LPCM 7.1 capable receiver* selected and no others.
At ~38:38 into playback of this title, the Boxee playback starts to halt and then freezes completely. This happens whether the playback is over the network, or played back from local USB storage. At least once when trying to pause/un-pause or scan out of this halt the Boxee locked up and had to be rebooted. Sometimes scanning forward aggressively could get around the "problem" spot in this title.
My other Boxee Boxes which DO NOT have any advanced audio options selected (everything is decoded inside the Boxee and sent as PCM) have NO PROBLEM playing back this title.
Also, XBMC on a variety of machines has no problem with this title.
The audio track in question is DTS. I have a sample if it would help identify the problem. It is about 95MB, let me know where it should be uploaded. Also, attached is media info for the title in question.
