Black screen when ff rar file

Description

When playing back a mkv file that is in a rar archive, if I fast forward the very end of the file my screen will go black and show invalid format and I need to reboot my box.

I can reproduce that with different files, they all happen to be the same show just different episodes.

It would help us reproduce and fix the issue if you could please upload the file or a file sample to the "incoming" directory at
ftp://ftp.boxee.tv
user: dropbox
pass: swA4EQAt

Before uploading, Rename the file to include the issue number in its file name.
This is a write only FTP, and other people will not see your files.
You can use the FTP client from http://filezilla-project.org/

Sorry I missed that, it's the newest version: 1.2.0.20310.

Also, this file is 2.0 GB and I don't believe the issue will happen if I send a sample of it. The name of the file is and it's an mkv file within the archive:

So.You.Think.You.Can.Dance.S08E22.720p.HDTV.x264-ORENJI

I've run into a problem like this before too -- fast-forwarding, rewinding, and sometimes even pausing a video causes the video to black-out, return an error, or exit. And restarting the video at the point I left off isn't always possible; I have to start the video over again, fast-forward, and then stop fast-forwarding right before hitting the "problem" part of the file. If I hit the "problem" part of the video then it exits again. The "problem" part of the video varies -- but it's usually around some point near the end of the video -- well, in the last 1/3 of the video.

However, for me, this has only happened with particular videos (and only with videos that are in RAR format) -- I can play a couple of dozen RAR videos before encountering the problem. But when I do run into the problem it can be consistently repeated with that particular video. So I've always figured that these rare instances are related to a corrupted RAR file and not Boxee's fault. (Maybe.)

The newer problem I'm having is affecting ALL of the RAR files on my iMac. I can't get them to play on the Boxee Box at all anymore, unless I un-RAR them first or move the RAR files over to my NAS. This used to work, but stopped working after I upgraded to Boxee firmware 1.2 and OS X Lion and switched to AFP instead of SMB. Frustrating. Also, Please attach a Debug log to this issue.
Settings > System > Debug > Debug Level = Debug
ReStart Boxee, and after experiencing the problem, close Boxee and attach your log file to the bug.
DEBUG log slows down the performance. so afterward, switch the log level back to NONE
Boxee Box log may be found at *http://boxeebox:8080/ under 'Boxee Logs', click on the "Get latest " link. (*boxeebox =ip address of the box)
