Description
When I booted up the Boxee this morning I noticed that the cursor was missing on my Favourite Shows (on PBS, BBC, CTV.ca), Friend Feed (from YouTube), as well as the Boxee Web Browser including on Bing search results (making it impossible to click any links).
With the Favourite Shows, the shows appeared in the web browser and played as normal but there was no way to click the link for full screen viewing. Pressing Enter or the D-buttons had no effect (except on BBC where the video did not play, but the page scrolled up). When pressing the Back button, there is only the prompt: Are you sure you want to exit this app?
With Friends Feed on YouTube, the video would play in the browser, with no ability to go full screen. Pressing the D-buttons would either advance or rewind the video, or adjust the volume in YouTube. The enter button had no effect. At the end of video it was not possible to click on related videos or scroll down the page because the D-button did not allow it. The only option to get out was to press the back button which gave the prompt: Are you sure you want to exit this app?
On the CTV.ca and Bing web sites, I can see the cursor arrow appear briefly when I press the enter button, but it disappears right away. When I open the Web Browser app, I am able to do a Bing search and get results but because there is no pointer, I am unable to click on any of the results. Using the D-buttons only scrolls the page up and down. Pressing enter has no effect. Pressing the back buttons makes it ask to exit the app.
Using the YouTube app, it shows the videos in full screen but there is no way to go back to exit the video or back to the search results because pressing the back button immediately shows: Are you sure you want to leave this app? (Don't know if this is related, but I didn't think I had this problem in the past.
It was working fine yesterday (both using the Boxee remote and the iPhone app), but it changed today. No error messages have appeared. I've tried rebooting the Boxee several times with no change in behaviour.
I just setup the Boxee on Sunday and it installed the latest update at that time.
