HBO Go app on Boxee Box - displaying two sets of controls and black line down right side of screen.

outz added a comment - 12/Aug/11 7:45 PM - edited hey guys. i updated to 1.2.0.20310-47e9e3e and im having the same issue when going to fullscreen on hbo go. anything else i can do to assist you? theres been a few other posts on the forum from people with identical issues.... just wonder how we can reproduce it on your end. i wouldn't think it would be cable provider specific since i believe hbo go is just validating your credentials against your provider and then sending all the users to their main interface (unless im wrong) i didn't have any freezing, but definitely faced the two sets of controls shown on full screen, and black line down just right of middle while watching true blood at full screen. also, another user made a video of this problem if you want to see. http://forums.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=38618

Brad Griffith added a comment - 24/Aug/11 3:30 PM I experience the same issues using HBO:GO in fullscreen on the Boxee Box. We have to Boxes, actually, and both exhibit the same behavior. When not in fullscreen, things generally work as expected. There are occasional freezes when not in full screen mode, but the control glitches and permanent lines over top of the image don't appear.

Benjamin Weisholtz added a comment - 14/Nov/11 5:14 PM I've got another kink to throw into this issue, which also proves that nobody is lying or seeing things wrong. I currently have 2 Boxee Box's. One in my bedroom. One in my living room. Both are running the same firmware (most current, i check every day or two for updates). On the one in my bedroom, I AM getting the 'horizontal line' issue. On the one i have in my living room, i am NOT seeing this issue. very, very weird.

Craig M added a comment - 04/Jan/12 9:27 PM Confirming that re-adjusting the overscan a bit fixed the black line problem (not the temporary double play/pause controls).

Luke Keller added a comment - 16/Jan/12 9:42 PM Having the same problem with latest firmware as of Jan 16th 2012. Connected to a 720p TV via HDMI. Looks like a software issue to me.

Black line, double screens, changes res from hq to pos then back, audio is loud on the background sounds but the actors are lower. Making progress but aren't we still at version 1.0? make w/ the updates already.
